Charis in Concert at Smith Chapel
“Affirmatively contemplative” Christian duo Charis will perform in the Larry and Kathryn Smith Chapel at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, on Thursday, August 28.
The performance begins at 7:00 p.m. and is sponsored by the college’s Smith Chapel. Admission is free and open to the public.
Dayton, Ohio-based singer/songwriters Abi Cook and Crystal Yexley seek to express the simultaneous beauty and burden of grace, an apparent contradiction that is a fitting metaphor for their musical output of contemporary pop, jazz, gospel, R&B, and improvisation. Click here for the Charis Web site.
