Penn State Behrend Women's Tennis Handles Pitt-Bradford 8-1

The Penn State Behrend women's tennis team has continued to dominate the AMCC. On Monday against the Pitt-Bradford Panthers, 12 different Behrend Lions contributed to the 8-1 win on the Behrend courts. 

In singles action the Behrend Lions were led by Steph Cattron (Greenville/Commodore Perry), Arica Christman (Sharon/Sharon), and Hillary Lasher (Lakewood, NY/Southwestern) who won in first, second and third flight singles.

In doubles, the blue and white took all three matches. Allison Quigley (Gibsonia/Hampton) teamed up with Jade Buhite (North Kingsville, OH/Edgewood) to win 8-0 at second singles. 

The women's tennis team will be back in action on October 11 and 12 when they travel to the Goucher Invitational. The blue and white will take on Grove City on October 18. The season wraps up with the AMCC Championships on October 18 and 19 in Wexford, PA.
