Telecounselors assist in the Admissions process by providing telephone contact to prospective students to promote a personal approach to communicating information about Penn State Erie. Child Care Center Student Aide: Assist in the implementation of daily activities and routine child care tasks for children ages six weeks to six years. Student Consultant: Help students and faculty with computer related problems (both hardware and software); help maintain computer equipment and inventory. Student Technician: Install, configure and trouble shoot computer hardware and software packages on faculty, staff, and student computers. Provide limited technical training to end users. Housing and Food Services Bruno's has various positions available between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Start at $7.00 per hour. Intramural Office Intramural officiating positions: Must have a good understanding of the rules for the particular sport: softball, volleyball, flag football, basketball. Mail Services Mail Services Assistant: Service window customers, handing out packages, weighing and posting mail, sorting mail, and some clerical duties. The wage is $8.50/hour. Student Academic Leader: The Student Academic Leader (SAL) position is a 1 year, live-in, undergraduate paraprofessional position with the Office of Residence Life. The SAL works with one first year residence hall to facilitate academic progress and promote an environment conducive to student success by providing programming, holding office hours, and consultation sessions with students, acting as a liaison between campus resources and the student. Student Activities Leadership Consultant: The Leadership Consultant position is a student paraprofessional position with the Office of Student Activities and Leadership Unlimited program. The Leadership Consultant is trained as a peer group facilitator to create and conduct experiential learning, team building initiatives, workshops, etc. with various groups on and sometimes off campus. This person must enjoy working with others, able to communicate effectively, and be open to new and exciting challenges. This position requires person to attend Facilitator Training followed by an application and interview. Pay is $6.75/hour per workshop. However, students who work as Resident Assistants do receive funding toward room and board charges and a small tuition stipend. Please vist the informational site for more details! Tutors Peer Tutor: Assist current Behrend students in writing, mathematics, or other subjects as qualified. Graders Mathematics Grader: The Mathematics
Department seeks students with strong academic credentials, particularly in
college-level mathematics courses, who are honest, reliable, timely,
accurate, and can communicate well with their supervising math faculty
members. A grader's duties include
grading homework and quizzes as directed by his or her supervising mathematics faculty
member.
Graders are usually hired each semester during the first week of classes. To
